Carter Cruise Wraps Work on American Hustle XXX
America’s favorite former sorority-girl-turned-porn-star Carter Cruise
wrapped her work on American Hustle XXX and said it was a blast.
Smash Pictures tapped Will Ryder to direct the parody of the Oscar-nominated blockbuster starring Jennifer Lawrence and Christian Bale and directed by David O. Russell. In typical Ryder style, there was talk of awards before shooting even started. “Doing American Hustle XXX was not a quick decision,” he said last month. “We make blockbusters that win awards and truly, that is not an easy thing to do, so I had to know they [Smash Pictures] were as committed to victory as we are."
Carter was tapped to play Mrs. Polito, the mayor’s wife in American Hustle XXX. It wasn’t her first time in a movie directed by Ryder—she was also in his Not Traci Lords: The True Hollywood Story XXX.
“Will is an fantastic director and working with him is amazing,” Carter said. “You know going in that it’s going to be something big, something that will really blow people away, so everyone is at their absolute best. I can’t wait to see the finished product—I know it’s going to be incredible!”
American Hustle won Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical at the 2014 Golden Globes—among many other awards.
Last week Carter was part of a photo shoot for the album art for the upcoming album from rapper Riff Raff. Raff was a member of Three Loco and his second solo album, Neon Icon, is expected to drop next month. The shoot was by a pool with one other model.
This week she shot feature, On the Air, for Wicked directed by Jonathan Morgan. Carter played Tiffany, whose stepmom (Ava Addams) catches her with a boyfriend (Van Wylde) she’s not supposed to be seeing. For her punishment, Stepmom forces her to watch her banging the bad boy. Carter gets her revenge by banging two of her stepmom’s ex-boyfriends, played by Toni Ribas and Erik Everhard.
Earlier this month Carter was outed as a former sorority sister while attending East Carolina University. She has a new movie on shelves this week: Amateur POV Auditions 8 (Amateur Allure)
Fans can nominate Carter for the Fanny Awards, which will be held at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City on April 12 during Exxxotica NJ. Nominations are being accepted now at http://thefannys.com/#vote, and there are plenty of categories that Carter should be competing.
